How to prevent Macos High Sierra from tracking your location

Macos includes a Feature that preserves your geographical location and is named “Significant Location

This feature is used in certain applications, such as maps, calendar, and images, to show user-specific suggestions and information based on location To turn off the Significant Location feature in Macos, follow these steps

Open System Preferences

pressure Security and Privacy Security & Privacy

The Location Services service is selected from the privacy menu side menu

Details are pressed next to System Services

A list of operating system features that you can use for your site is displayed

To disable this feature, uncheck the box next to it and press Done

To find out which sites were stored on the system, pressure on the details next to the property

You can delete all previous locations by pressing Clear History
